Senior Marketing Executive

Base Pay Range

Homes for Students is one of the UK’s leading providers of student accommodation. We are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to help deliver a robust marketing strategy and support our marketing team. The role is based in Liverpool and requires 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm.

• Oversee the Property Marketing team and meet client expectations.
• Drive new initiatives to enhance show flat dressings.
• Own the relationship with photographers and educate the wider team on company standards.
• Oversee all signage requests and bring fresh ideas to improve existing work streams.
• Lead, coach and guide a team to deliver high‑quality work within tight deadlines.
• Manage stock levels of merchandise in partnership with third‑party suppliers.
• Develop content and build relationships with key contacts.
• Assist with tactical and strategic action plans, exploring new ways to market to students.
• Proactively undertake projects to showcase the brand and its assets, researching current trends and competitors.
• Maintain strong relationships with colleagues to communicate plans and complete tasks promptly.
• Comply with health‑and‑safety working practice in accordance with the company’s policy.
• Be flexible and work effectively with other colleagues.
• Represent Homes for Students at housing, freshers fairs and sector events across the UK.
• Infrequent travel required to visit properties all over the UK.

• Strong written skills.
• Creative mind with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with dressing show flats/rooms.
• Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good presentation skills in PowerPoint or similar.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work and lead a team.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Confident in talking to people.
• Ability to present to stakeholders when required.
• Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels.
• Ability to achieve goals and targets within timescales.

• Minimum 6–12 months experience in a relevant role.

• Educated to a degree level in marketing, business, English or journalism.
• Experience of marketing in the student sector.
• Experience of budgetary management and working to financial regulations.
• Experience of consulting and meeting with customers.
