Position: Print Room Manager - North East England - £Highly Competitive Salary

Role Overview

As Print Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the digital print pressroom, maintaining high quality output and continually seeking ways to improve processes and efficiency. This is a fast‑paced production space, with a dedicated team who endeavour to reach perfection for customers.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the digital print pressroom, ensuring that production schedules are met.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all printed materials meet the company’s standards.
  • Ensure that all digital printing equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.
  • Lead and manage teams of press operators, providing training and support as needed.
  • Manage inventory of printing materials, such as paper, ink, and other consumables.
  • Continuously assess and improve pressroom processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure that the pressroom operates in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure efficiency across production and customer expectations are met.
  • Generate reports on pressroom performance and productivity for management review.
  • Document standard operating procedures and update them as needed.
  • Analyse production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
