Role Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising a variety of machinery and mechanical systems within a busy manufacturing environment. Your work will help maximise uptime, support smooth operations, and uphold high safety standards across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance:
Carry out routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to keep machinery in top working condition.
Fault Finding & Repairs:
Diagnose mechanical issues quickly and perform effective repairs to minimise downtime.
Breakdown Response:
React promptly to equipment breakdowns, ensuring efficient resolution and continuity of production.
Team

Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to support safe and efficient site operations.
Machining Work:
Operate milling machinery when required as part of maintenance and repair tasks.
Welding & Fabrication:
Perform welding duties to repair or modify equipment as needed.
General Maintenance:
Support wider facility maintenance, ensuring a safe and well-maintained working environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing, factory, or industrial maintenance setting is essential.
Strong welding and fabrication skills.
Excellent troubleshooting ability with a methodical and solutions-focused approach.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
