Henty Oil, a subsidiary of WFS, currently requires a Terminal Controller to oversee HSSEQ, cargo transfer, discharge and storage activities on behalf of the UK’s leading independent marine fuel specialist supporting the business within a team of eleven operatives on a 24/7 work pattern.

* POSITION LOCATION:

** Liverpool (Huskisson Dock)
** Core duties and responsibilities include:
*** Manage terminal operations: product receipt, storage, blending, and discharge.
* Lead and supervise terminal teams; ensure production targets and safety compliance.
* Issue permits, conduct risk assessments, and oversee health, safety, and security.
* Coordinate customer orders and daily work schedules.
* Maintain accurate stock records and operational documentation.
* Mentor staff and support training, first aid, and fire warden duties.
* Monitor KPIs and report on terminal performance.
* Assist with engineering tasks, housekeeping, and drive terminal vehicles/equipment
** PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):
** Essential* Demonstrate strong supervisory skill
* Experience controlling work schedules
* Experience controlling teams of people
* Experience of using Microsoft Office products particularly Excel Spreadsheets.
* Experienced in the Mentoring and Training of others
* Numerate ability - able to calculate percentage blends.
* Willing to work within a shift pattern and flexible on working hours.
* Health & Safety Leader - experience of working to strict Health & Safety procedures and experience of implementing Health and Safety practices.
* Must be comfortable working at heights in excess of 16 meters (Tank tops).
* Strong Team Player but works equally well self-motivated.
* Have own transport.

Desirable
* Experienced in ship to shore operations (COG: chemical Oil & Gas)
* Understanding of basic engineering principles.
* FLT Driver
