Operations Manager

Location: Office-based (Hampshire)

Salary: £55,000-£75,000 + Benefits

The Opportunity

We are looking to appoint a Practice Manager to support the operational leadership of the business.

Working closely with the Director and leadership team, the Practice Manager will help oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring that people, systems and processes operate smoothly. This is a broad and varied role suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and supporting a growing business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management of HR processes including contracts, onboarding, absence management and appraisals
  • Maintain clear reporting structures across the team
  • Support the development of trainee financial planners
  • Act as a key point of contact for HR-related matters
  • Oversee back-office systems and internal technology
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes
  • Manage relationships with IT and software providers
  • Ensure data integrity and system compliance
  • Support the business in meeting network and regulatory requirements
  • Act as a key operational contact for compliance-related matters
  • Monitor regulatory communications and ensure updates are implemented internally
  • Maintain internal policies and procedures
  • Oversee the smooth running of office operations
  • Manage suppliers, facilities and general business administration
  • Support business planning and operational projects
  • Identify operational risks and implement improvements
What We re Looking For Essential
  • Experience in a senior operations, practice management or business management role
  • Experience with in financial services
  • Strong understanding of HR processes
  • Confident working with systems and business technology
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Desirable
  • Experience working within a financial advice network or similar environment
  • Experience supporting a growing business through operational change
  • Experience improving internal processes
