Audit Assistant Manager / Manager - Liverpool Clark Wood are currently working with a fast-growing, award-winning North West practice who are looking to recruit an Audit Assistant Manager / Manager to join their expanding team in Liverpool.

They are now seeking a driven and experienced audit professional who is looking to progress their career with a practice committed to long-term  this role, you will take responsibility for leading and managing audit engagements from planning through to completion, working with a diverse portfolio of clients including larger limited companies, groups, and fast-growing owner-managed businesses.

You will oversee fieldwork, review audit files, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and play a key role in delivering a high-quality service.

Alongside audit delivery, you will act as a main point of contact for clients, developing strong relationships and offering proactive guidance. You will also support, mentor, and review the work of junior team members, contributing to their ongoing development and helping to build capability within the audit department.

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified and have proven experience leading audit assignments within an accountancy practice. Strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage and motivate a team are essential.
