Located directly beside Liverpool John Lennon Airport, this Hampton by Hilton is a fast‑moving, high‑energy operation serving a constant mix of airline crews, business travellers, early‑morning flyers, and leisure guests. It needs a General Manager who thrives on pace, knows how to bring teams together across varied shifts, and can balance commercial sharpness with genuine, people‑first leadership.

As General Manager, you’ll have full responsibility for the performance of the hotel — operationally, commercially, and culturally. You’ll lead a close‑knit management team, create a positive and inclusive working environment, and ensure every guest experience reflects both the Hampton brand and Valor’s Hotelitarian culture. You’ll be trusted to run the business as if it were your own, with the support of a wider network that genuinely backs its GMs.
Key accountabilities include:
- Full P&L ownership, driving revenue, profit, and cost control
- Leading, coaching, and developing your leadership team
- Creating a strong, values‑led culture where people feel supported and motivated
- Delivering consistently high guest satisfaction in a fast‑paced airport environment
- Building strong relationships with owners, brand partners, and local stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance, safety, and brand standards are met without compromise
What you’ll bring
You’re an experienced General Manager (or a strong Deputy ready to step up) with a background in branded hotels. You’re commercially confident, operationally credible, and calm under pressure. Most importantly, you care deeply about people — developing talent, building trust, and setting the tone every single day.
You’ll also bring:
- Proven experience running a high‑volume or complex hotel operation
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- A hands‑on leadership style — visible, approachable, and decisive
- Confidence working with owners and brand partners
- A genuine belief that great results come from great teams
