A leading firm of accountants is opening an office in Liverpool and is looking for an Audit Manager to join their expanding team, paying a salary of £50,000 – £62,000 depending on experience and level.

The firm specialises in owner‑managed businesses, corporate clients, SMEs, charities and academies. This position has arisen purely due to growth and expansion of the audit department. With 11 partners and over 90 staff, their growth plans will provide lots of opportunity to reach Director and/or Partner level for the right people.

• Be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Experience of coaching junior members of audit staff

• Manage a portfolio of clients, reporting to Directors and Partners
• Brief and oversee staff on assignments, providing training
• Attend and present audit planning and closing audit meetings
• Recruitment and business development
