Job Vacancy:School Cleaner (Primary School) About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our primary school team. You will help ensure our school is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Replenishing cleaning supplies such as soap and paper towels
- Following health and safety and COSHH guidelines
- Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the caretaker or school office
- Be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided)
- A friendly and supportive working environment
- Term‑time working hours (where applicable)
