- Cutting‑edge technology:

Fault finding and root cause analysis of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems on a brand new, state‑of‑the‑art fleet of trains. Use electrical schematics, diagnostic software, test and measuring equipment to identify the root cause of train failures. Perform corrective actions on the new trains in multiple environments, including main depot and call‑out locations, adhering to all safety procedures and using electronic management systems.
SalaryAs a Real Living Wage Employer, we are proud to pay competitively this role you will be offered a salary in the region of £49,000 per annum.
Success Factors- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- Fault finding and root cause analysis experience
- Able to interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams
- Use of diagnostic software
- Use of test and measuring equipment
- 3 years post apprenticeship experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Available for shift work (Days & Nights including weekends)
