FLT Operative

Location: Merseyside

The role involves collecting, moving, sorting, processing, and dispatching waste and other materials as part of both scheduled routines and ad‑hoc client requests. The successful candidate will load and unload hazardous and non‑hazardous waste from service yards and collection points, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.

Key duties include:

Responding to ad‑hoc waste collection requests and liaising directly with the client

Carrying out regular litter picks to maintain cleanliness in working areas

Ensuring high standards of tidiness are upheld across the site

Complying with waste legislation when handling all materials

Completing daily check sheets for equipment and reporting any unsafe conditions

Essential Requirement

Valid FLT Counterbalance licence with experience operating safely in busy yard environments
