IT​/Tech Tester, Systems Analyst

We are actively looking to secure a Tester to join Experis.

We are looking for experienced Test Specialists to join a large‑scale, high‑profile UK transformation programme. You will be part of an established delivery team responsible for supporting and enhancing the testing of a central government application.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Business Analysts to interpret requirements, design effective test scenarios, and ensure the quality of a nationally critical system.

• Work as part of a skilled test team on a major government transformation project.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into structured test scenarios.
• Perform performance and functional testing across complex systems.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across UK locations.
• Raise, track, and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring clear documentation, accurate severity/priority assignment, and timely retesting and closure.
• Contribute to performance testing activities
  , including scripting, execution, analysis, and reporting (using tools such as JMeter and AWS tooling where applicable)

• Preferable experience in Performance Testing
• Experience using Cucumber for automation
• Proficiency in Java
• Working knowledge of JIRA
• Familiarity with Confluence
• Minimum 5 years continuous UK residency (for security clearance).
• All candidates must undergo BPSS clearance before starting.
