Breakfast Server Job Description - Mullion, Cornwall

Location: Polurrian Hotel, Mullion, Cornwall, United Kingdom TR12

Position: Full-time, Permanent ( Part-time hours also available)

Salary: £8.00 to £12.71 per hour

Aim of Role:

We are seeking an energetic and guest-focused Breakfast Server to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for many of our guests each day, you’ll play a key role in delivering a warm, welcoming, and efficient breakfast experience that reflects our hotel’s high standards of service.

• Greet guests warmly and communicate breakfast systems
• Take food orders, serve meals and ensure tables are cleaned and reset promptly
• Monitor food quality and replenish buffet items as needed
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns courteously
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Handling payments and operating the till

• Previous hospitality and customer service experience (preferred but not essential – full training provided)
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work early morning shifts (starting from 7- 8am)
• Flexibility to work lunches, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to enhance skills such as barista training
