Clinical​/Counselling Psychologist

Overview

Company Description Since 2006, Harley Therapy has connected individuals to the highest calibre practitioners in private practice, working to improve their mental health and lead more fulfilling lives.

We are looking to work with an experienced self-employed Psychologist (HCPC, UKCP or BPS registered) to practice from our Liverpool Street rooms in the City of London. After room and admin fees, you can expect to earn between £100 and £125 per 50-minute session. Administrative support is available six days a week, a dedicated marketing team to promote your services, and our bespoke booking system in place to help you focus on your clinical work.

Given the varied nature of the referrals received, you will be confident in working with a broad range of issues, including complex cases. You ideally can offer a minimum of either:

• one full clinic day (8–10 hours) each week, or
• two 5-hour clinics (to include at least one evening 4–9pm).

Additional hours are possible if you would like to expand your practice, subject to room availability.

We use a bespoke booking and administrative system designed to support efficient repeat appointments and easy access to information around scheduling. Many therapists who work with us have been with Harley Therapy for over ten years, which we believe is essential in providing consistency, reliability, and a stable therapeutic experience for returning clients. Our ideal candidate would be looking to establish a long-term collaboration and prioritise thoughtful and ethical client care.

While practitioners work independently and do not operate as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, we encourage professional connection. The gatherings organised by Harley Therapy are informal, social opportunities to meet colleagues and the wider team, rather than clinical or MDT-based forums. • Registered with the HCPC, UKCP or BPS
• Longevity in previous roles and NHS experience is preferred
• You will have a minimum of 8 years of experience, preferably more, which includes the years spent seeing clients under supervision during training
