An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to work as a Health Care Assistant on Ward 4, an inpatient ward within the Haemato-oncology Department.
Main duties of the jobThe post will provide support to registered nurses and the multiprofessional team. Excellent communications skills and clerical skills are essential. Individuals should be committed, motivated and compassionate to complement the existing team. You will be encouraged to expand and develop your knowledge, skills and competencies within a supportive and friendly environment.

Person Specification Essential- Good general education / Literacy & Numeracy or willingness to work towards obtaining
- Willing to undertake the National Care Certificate
- Awareness and understanding of importance of confidentiality
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrate interest in healthcare services caring / supportive attitude
- Knowledge of Infection Control processes
- Knowledge of Safeguarding processes
- Experience of caring for patients
- Working towards or prepared to work towards obtaining an apprenticeship in clinical healthcare.
- National Care Certificate
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
