Rotational MSK B6 Clinician
Rotational MSK B6 clinicians required for our fast paced, dynamic city centre acute teaching hospitals. Demonstrable MSK experience and clinical knowledge is essential. Rotations are based at our three main hospital sites and off site locations and are predominantly in outpatients.
Full and part time applicants considered.
Rotation Areas- Upper limb
- Lower limb
- Spines
- General MSK outpatients
- Inpatient elective orthopaedics
- Limb reconstruction service (inpatient and outpatient)
- Hydrotherapy services
We also offer services in Hydrotherapy. You will have regular supervision and access to regular education/training provided by Advanced Practitioners and Consultant Therapists.
Our MSK team works within primary, secondary and tertiary clinical pathways. These pathways cover trauma and elective care as well as managing direct GP referrals to Physiotherapy and our MSK interface service (MCAS). Our clinical teams are well respected and seen as an integral part of clinical care working alongside Orthopaedic, Pain and Rheumatology Consultants.
Responsibilities- Apply clinical knowledge across a range of clinical areas.
- Supervise and support junior staff.
- Engage in student education, research and audit.
- Participate in the respiratory on-call service (discussion at interview, dependent on recent experience).
- Deliver a 7‑day service where required.
- Work in a range of locations across the city and in various services on a rotational basis.
- Collaborate with staff to choose rotations aligned with learning needs while maintaining a safe and effective service.
- Demonstrable MSK experience and clinical knowledge.
- Excellent communication, time‑management and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing service needs.
- Eligibility for Annex 21 training positions.
