Job Summary
Lead a service where decisions directly shape patient outcomes and staff wellbeing. Take 24‑hour responsibility for the operational and clinical management of theatres and sterile services. Drive innovation, oversee peri‑operative and post‑operative care, and lead a skilled workforce to deliver excellence every day.
Key Responsibilities- Direct day‑to‑day operations of theatre services and sterile services.
- Shape service delivery to improve patient outcomes and staff wellbeing.
- Lead workforce planning, embed education and research into daily practice.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across peri‑operative and post‑operative care.
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory requirements.
- Registered Nurse, Level 1 on Part 1 of the NMC register or City & Guilds 752 Level 3 NVQ Theatre Services Practice.
- Clinical experience in peri‑operative or theatre services (experience preferred).
Pay band 8a, £61,611 – £73,492 a year. Permanent contract full‑time with flexible working pattern. Annual leave starting at 27 days plus 10 public holidays. Pension arrangements under the Isle of Man Government Unified Scheme 2011 or Defined Contribution Scheme.
