Role and Responsibilities

Support Workers are focused on delivering high-quality care in line with person-centred approaches. Our service operates 24 hours with a waking night to support independent living and aspirations. You will:

  • Provide personalised support to adults with learning disabilities, dementia, epilepsy, anxiety and related needs
  • Assist with daily living, mobility, positioning, and equipment use (e.g., hoists, profiling beds, stand aids)
  • Support with activities indoors and outdoors, including cinema, dining out, local walks, and planned outings
  • Collaborate with a 24-hour team to achieve personal goals and promote independence
  • Attend training and development to meet ongoing professional and personal growth goals

Shifts & Location

Shift patterns include long days (08.00–20.00), daytime shifts, activity shifts (12.00–18.00 or as needed), evenings (14.00–23.00), and night shifts with waking staff. Our home is convenient with local transport links to Liverpool Town Centre and nearby areas. Non-drivers can access Mersey Link transport.

Other Information

Our home is led by a Service Leader who supports staff to reach their full potential. A 24-hour dedicated team delivers highly personalised person-centred care. We provide fully trained staff, including specialised training tailored to person-centred support. The service operates 24 hours a day with waking night support to assist independent living and achieving goals.
