Support Worker, Healthcare Nursing

Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Garston Liverpool
.

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

Your role will include supporting 3 gentlemen with learning disabilities within their own home and helping them access the community. Responsibilities include support with personal care, medication administration, meal preparation (experience of SALT would be preferred), and assisting them to participate in community-based activities of their choice.

• A genuine passion for supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.

Contract options
:
Full-time: 37.5 hrs

Shift times
:

• All our services are 24-hour care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can plan your personal and social life!
• Days:
  Between 10:00am-22:00pm and 10am-10pm
• Sleepover shifts from 22:00 onwards, with an enhanced flat rate payment of £63.70 for sleep-ins.
