Residential Registered Manager – Liverpool

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Registered Manager to lead a small, specialist residential service supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Acquired Brain Injury. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service delivers high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining full compliance with CQC standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Registered Manager with CQC, ensuring ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Lead the day-to-day operational management of the home
  • Ensure high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individuals with Autism, LD, and ABI
  • Manage, develop, and support the staff team, including recruitment, supervision, and appraisals
  • Maintain accurate care records, audits, policies, and quality assurance systems
  • Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting
  • Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure service sustainability
  • Drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive CQC rating
Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager within a residential care setting
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and ABI
  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and best practice
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a small service effectively
  • Experience managing a small or specialist residential service
  • History of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
