Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Registered Manager to lead a small, specialist residential service supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Acquired Brain Injury. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the service delivers high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining full compliance with CQC standards.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Registered Manager with CQC, ensuring ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements
Lead the day-to-day operational management of the home
Ensure high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individuals with Autism, LD, and ABI
Manage, develop, and support the staff team, including recruitment, supervision, and appraisals
Maintain accurate care records, audits, policies, and quality assurance systems
Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting
Build positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure service sustainability
Drive continuous improvement and maintain a positive CQC rating
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a CQC Registered Manager within a residential care setting
NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Strong experience supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and ABI
Sound knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and best practice
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage a small service effectively
Experience managing a small or specialist residential service
History of achieving or maintaining Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
