WhoWill You Be Supporting?
We support individuals of all ages and abilities, predominantly people over 55, though you may also receive support for younger individuals depending on the housing provider’s decision. You need to be fully trained in medication administration, moving and positioning, PECS for nutrition and medication, diabetes and epilepsy – all training will be provided during induction.
ResponsibilitiesYou will provide emergency response to calls through pendant systems, support with meals, medication, cleaning and personal care, enable independence, and assist with social activities such as community outings, meals out, shopping and medical appointments. Staff are on site 24/7 to support individuals who live in their own apartments with varying levels of care.
Other Important Information- Shifts range from early shifts with start times between 7.30am and 8am.
- Afternoons: 2‑10, 2‑11, 4‑10.
- Night shifts: 8pm to 8am.
Shift patterns are flexible and vary: early, afternoon, night, and mixed patterns as required.
