Female Support Worker – 28 hours per week in Liverpool (Driver Essential)

Alternative Futures Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide caring support to individuals in Liverpool. This role requires a strong understanding of personal and flexible care, as well as a willingness to learn and develop professionally.

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Show patience, confidence, and enthusiasm when caring for others.
• Use your own initiative in daily tasks.
• Work as part of a team to meet service needs.
• Be flexible to work varied shift patterns, including days, waking nights, sleep‑ins, and weekends.
• Share AFG values and uphold a person‑centred approach.

You will support people in a range of settings – from community‑based services to independent hospitals and adult care homes. Your focus will be on personalising support and tailoring services to individuals' care needs across areas such as learning disabilities, mental health, complex care and substance misuse.

We do not require prior caring experience – full training will be provided. A willingness to learn and develop is essential.

Flexible shifts that may include days, waking nights, sleep‑ins and weekends.
