We are seeking a dedicated Private Sector Housing (PSH) Technical Compliance Officer to join our busy team.
- In the role of PSH Technical Compliance Officer, you will undertake checks on private rented sector properties to ensure compliance with licence conditions, HHSRS standards, and other regulatory requirements, supporting Senior Enforcement Officers in their work.
- Your duties will include delivery of undertaking investigations into housing offences, preparing notices, investigating hazards, and representing the service at meetings and tribunals. The role involves responding to complaints, gathering evidence, and providing advice to other services.
- The ideal PSH Technical Compliance Officer candidate will have demonstrable knowledge of a relevant qualification or extensive experience in a similar role, knowledge of HHSRS and licensing schemes, and strong communication skills.
- The role will also require good attention to detail, the ability to work in a busy demanding environment and willingness to work outside of normal working hours, if required by service standards.
