Head of Investment

Our client a highly established IFA practice with a fantastic reputation, and brilliant culture, is seeking a Head of Investment to join the company being part of their senior leadership team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior investment professional in the industry who wants to make their mark on a growing business. You'll be taking ownership of the entire investment process - from fund research and selection to strategic asset allocation decisions. It's a role where you'll have real influence and the backing of a values-driven team.

• Lead the investment research process and fund selection across all asset classes
• Make strategic and tactical allocation decisions that drive client returns
• Build and maintain relationships with fund managers across the market
• Create investment content and market commentary for clients and the wider team
• Present to clients at seminars and support financial planners in client meetings
• Support the financial planners and wider business on technical information/enquiries
• Mentor and develop the investment team with 2 direct reports

• Proven investment management experience with strong analytical skills
• Level 6 qualified as a minimum, ideally Level 7 qualified. CISI or CFA.
• Experience in fund research, portfolio construction, and asset allocation
• Confidence to present investment ideas to clients and colleagues
  
  Leadership experience and the ability to mentor a growing team
• Somebody that has a clear investment strategy on managing client money and asset allocation
• Strong communication skills - both written and verbal

• A highly competitive £six figure basic salary depending on experience
