Loan Underwriter

If you are an experienced Loan Underwriter looking to step into a broader, more involved role, this position offers genuine responsibility across the full lending lifecycle. Package & Benefits for the Loan Underwriter:

• Salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities for the Loan Underwriter:

• Manage commercial loan cases from application through underwriting, due diligence, and drawdown.

• Prepare detailed credit papers and present cases for Credit Committee approval.

• Underwrite loans in line with agreed lending criteria and risk appetite.

• Liaise with brokers, internal teams, and third parties to progress cases efficiently.

About You

• Experience underwriting within a lending environment, ideally commercial or property-backed.

• Proven ability to produce accurate credit proposals and manage multiple cases concurrently.

• Prior exposure to broker-facing underwriting or case management.
