Senior Legal Cashier

ACS are recruiting for a Senior Legal Cashier for a law firm in Liverpool City Centre.

As Senior Legal Cashier, you will provide support in dealing with office transactions and ensuring all cashiering tasks are delivered to a high standard.

• Managing the team’s workload and providing guidance to ensure all cashiering duties are dealt with timely and accurately
• Weekly follow up with budget holders on open approvals
• Daily export of expenses and posting on the system
• Responsibility for the firm’s expense policy, budget codes and approvers on system
• Reporting on expenses for data reconciliations
• Review/edit and authorisation of expense claim submissions ensuring all claims are compliant with the firm’s policy
• Handling firm’s credit card payments and reconciling statements
• Releasing payments on online banking systems
• Ensuring quality control for office cashiering
• Dealing with queries
• Preparing weekly expense payment runs
• Evaluate and assist with day to day transactions on the firm's office bank accounts

The successful applicant to the Senior Legal Cashier role must meet the following criteria:

• Strong attention to detail to ensure data input is accurate
• Knowledge of SAR rules
• Strong organisational skills and able to work to deadlines
• Decent understanding of Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate across all levels
• Flexible and adaptable approach
• Experience working in a supervisory role previously, ideally within a cashiering role

Full time permanent position.

Salary £25-30,000
