Your new role

As a Corporate Tax Manager, you'll work closely with Tax Directors and Partners, taking responsibility for managing and delivering a high-quality corporate tax compliance service.
You'll oversee the day-to-day compliance process, act as a key point of contact for clients, and identify advisory opportunities arising from compliance work. Alongside this, you'll play a central role in developing and mentoring junior members of the team.
You'll also collaborate closely with advisory, personal tax and wider service lines to ensure clients receive a joined-up, holistic tax service.

Key responsibilities include
  • Managing the corporate tax compliance function within the Leeds office
  • Reviewing corporation tax computations and overseeing tax accounting matters
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients on corporate tax issues, queries and HMRC matters
  • Identifying and supporting advisory projects arising from compliance work
  • Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members
  • Working collaboratively with other tax and advisory teams to deliver excellent client outcomes
To be successful in this role, you'll need
  • CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification
  • At least one year of post-qualification experience in a corporate tax role within private practice
  • Strong technical corporate tax knowledge
  • Confidence dealing with clients at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisation and time management
  • A commercial mindset and willingness to take on responsibility
