Cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan and wellbeing initiativesYour new role:As a Corporate Tax Manager, you'll work closely with Tax Directors and Partners, taking responsibility for managing and delivering a high-quality corporate tax compliance service.
You'll oversee the day-to-day compliance process, act as a key point of contact for clients, and identify advisory opportunities arising from compliance work. Alongside this, you'll play a central role in developing and mentoring junior members of the team.
You'll also collaborate closely with advisory, personal tax and wider service lines to ensure clients receive a joined-up, holistic tax service.Key responsibilities include:Managing the corporate tax compliance function within the Leeds office
Reviewing corporation tax computations and overseeing tax accounting matters
Acting as the main point of contact for clients on corporate tax issues, queries and HMRC matters
Identifying and supporting advisory projects arising from compliance work Supervising, mentoring and developing junior team members
Working collaboratively with other tax and advisory teams to deliver excellent client outcomesTo be successful in this role, you'll need:CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification
At least one year of post-qualification experience in a corporate tax role within private practice
Strong technical corporate tax knowledge
Confidence dealing with clients at all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisation and time management
