We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual who’s ready to take on the challenge of supporting our team to deliver an excellent rent and service charge delivery to the business and our customers. If you really want to use your already generated skills in finance and drive them forward to learning everything rent and service charge then this is the role for you!
Ideally you will have some previous exposure to rent and service charges.
The Purpose of this role is to deliver all aspects of rent and service charges for all tenure types ensuring legal compliance and a customer centric approach is always delivered.
Day to day the role involves standard monthly tasks check and production of various reports to support budget holders. You’ll also take lead on the calculation of rent & service charge budgets and annual accounts organising distribution to customers uploading of these charges and leading on any audits. You’ll also be responding to any enquiries from internal and external customers to provide support.

- Extensive experience and knowledge of Social Housing Rent and Service Charge principles legislation and regulations.
- Ideally AAT qualified or able to demonstrate experience and competence to that level.
- You have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- You’re organised and able to prioritise your workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Ideally you will have experience of making best use of available technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Good working knowledge of computerised financial systems and desktop applications.
