Cost Engineer – Nuclear Decommissioning; Hybrid

Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for multiple Cost Engineers on a permanent basis to be based in Whitehaven, Cumbria. We're looking for Cost Engineers to work on cutting edge, multidisciplinary decommissioning projects. Our client is a leading engineering design company with offices based in West Cumbria or Manchester, renowned for delivering innovative, high-quality services in the Decommissioning and Nuclear sector.

With an expanding portfolio of frameworks and major projects, they are now seeking experienced and driven professionals to join their growing teams.

You will have:

• Proven experience in cost engineering or cost management (ideally within the nuclear, infrastructure or decommissioning sectors)
• Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, and forecasting
• Proficiency with cost tools such as Primavera, CostX, or equivalent
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Degree or equivalent in engineering, construction, quantity surveying or a related field
• Active SC or be eligible for SC

• Competitive salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE
