Intermediate Electrical Engineer - Building services

Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing building services' consultancy working on a wide variety of projects across the commercial, residential, education, and public sectors. We're looking for a motivated Intermediate Electrical Engineer with a passion for quality design, problem‑solving, and delivering smart solutions within the built environment.

• Producing electrical designs for building services projects, from concept through to detailed design
• Working on power distribution, lighting, containment, fire alarm systems and other LV design elements
• Supporting project leaders with coordination, calculations and documentation
• Using industry‑standard software such as Amtech, Dialux, and Revit (experience beneficial, training provided)
• Attending design meetings and collaborating with internal engineers, architects, and external stakeholders
• Contributing to sustainable and energy‑efficient design solutions

• Current UK project experience
• 2+ years' experience in building services (electrical bias)
• HNC/HND/Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge of UK building regulations and relevant standards
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit team
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn and progress

• Clear development pathway toward Senior Engineer level
