An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated BMS Sales Engineer to join a forward-thinking organisation within the building controls and energy management sector. This role is ideal for an experienced BMS professional seeking to step into a commercially focused position, or for an established sales engineer looking to advance their career within a technical and rapidly growing industry.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development- Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and public-sector markets
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and system demonstrations
- Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and support wider business growth
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to contract negotiation and final handover
- Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and propose effective BMS solutions
- Provide technical insight into HVAC controls, energy management systems, and related technologies
- Review specifications, drawings, and system documentation to support accurate quotations
- Assist in the development of project scopes, cost estimates, and system designs
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process
- Support clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and successful project outcomes
- Collaborate with internal engineering and project teams to ensure seamless delivery and high-quality service
- Strong technical background in BMS engineering, HVAC controls, and system integration
- Knowledge of major BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium N4, and Siemens
- Experience in commissioning, project engineering, or project management within the BMS sector
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills
- A proactive, driven mindset with a strong desire to succeed in a technical sales environment
This role is also well suited to experienced BMS Engineers looking to transition into sales, offering full support and development to help you excel commercially.
