Holidays My client, a growing manufacturer in the Northwest has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded Mechanical Design Engineer. Working within this well-established company you will be responsible for design across the full product life cycle. The company is experiencing a continued increase in business, and this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a position with long term development opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities

Cradle to grave product design
Assembling prototypes, testing, logging data correctly and reviewing
Creation of design specifications
Liaise with other R&D/Marketing/Production Departments
Create BOM lists
Report on Project progress
Required Skills & Experience

Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Working knowledge of Engineering Design System (3D CAD)
Specific experience with 3D Solidworks is advantageous
Knowledge of MS Project or similar
Worked within design for manufacture and assembly
