Role Description

This is a contract-based role for a Marine Engineer Consultant/Trainer located in Liverpool. The individual will be responsible for providing expert consultancy services and delivering training programs tailored to maritime industry standards. Key responsibilities include creating a comprehensive training plan from MCA syllabi, advising stakeholders how courses will be delivered, vetting current training plans to make sure they fit in with current legislation and potentially training students if suitable for the candidate.

Qualifications

• Strong experience and background in the Merchant Navy and Marine Industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Maritime operations and Marine Engineering practices.
• Expertise in Maintenance and Repair of marine vessels and related systems.
• Proven ability to train, guide, and mentor professionals within the maritime sector.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in preparing and delivering technical and operational training modules.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in marine engineering or related fields.
