Key Responsibilities

  • Manage occupational health and hygiene programs.
  • Investigate and record incidents, near misses, and cases of ill health.
  • Conduct internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities as required.
  • Drive engagement and accountability across the site for SHEQ performance.
About You
  • Proven experience in a SHEQ or HSE management role within a chemical, manufacturing, or process industry.
  • Strong process safety and COMAH background.
  • Relevant NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Knowledge of reaction chemistry.
  • Competent in SHEQ reporting systems and incident investigation (RCA).
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and confident managing your own workload.

    14001, and ISO
    9001 systems.
  • Membership of IOSH, IEMA, or IChemE.
  • Background in chemical, waste, or petrochemical environments.
Personal Attributes
  • Diligent and professional
  • Flexible and proactive
  • Strong communicator and influencer
  • Enthusiastic team player with a “can‑do” attitude
