We're currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Primary Supply Teachers to join our dedicated supply team in North Somerset and Surrounding Areas If you're a qualified teacher (with QTS) seeking flexible opportunities, wanting to maintain your work-life balance, or looking to gain varied experience across different primary schools while bringing your enthusiasm to early years and key stage teaching

Responsibilities
  • Cover Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2, including those with strengths in phonics, early reading, maths mastery, creative curriculum delivery, or supporting children with additional needs.

  • Competitive daily pay rates (typically £140–£200 per day, depending on your experience, qualifications, length of assignment, and any specialisms)
  • Higher rates often apply for EYFS expertise, SEN experience, or longer bookings
  • Personal support from our local consultants who know the North Somerset and surrounding primary schools inside out
  • Build a varied CV with experience across different year groups, school types, and educational approaches
  • Clear pathways to long-term roles or permanent positions in our partner schools
  • Access to free CPD sessions, primary-specific training (e.g., phonics, behaviour management, safeguarding), and updates
What we're looking for
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (ECTs/NQTs welcome)
  • Proven experience teaching in primary settings (recent classroom experience preferred, but we value strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm, and a child-centred approach)
  • Confidence delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum, with good behaviour management and positive relationships with pupils
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one; we can guide you through the process)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Reliable, adaptable, and committed to high standards of teaching and pupil wellbeing
  • A passion for inspiring young learners in their foundational years
  • We especially welcome applications from teachers with experience in high-demand areas such as Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), phonics delivery, supporting pupils with SEND, or creative/outdoor learning approaches.
