Teaching Personnel Liverpool is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistants to join a Good-rated Ofsted secondary school in the Sefton area. These full-time roles offer the opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives while gaining valuable experience in a welcoming and well-supported school environment. There is also strong potential for the positions to become permanent for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Provide in-class support to teachers across a range of secondary subjects.
Work with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning and improve engagement.
Assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Support students with additional learning needs where required.
Help maintain classroom organisation and behaviour management in line with school policies.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

A passion for supporting young people in education.
Experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based or relevant youth work experience desirable).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff.
A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
