Milk Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Learning Support Assistant for a vibrant secondary school in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and making a real difference in a student’s educational experience.

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
, you will:

• Work directly with a student who requires tailored support throughout the school day.
• Help the pupil engage with the curriculum, reinforcing learning set by the class teacher.
• Adapt activities to ensure the student can access lessons effectively.
• Support emotional regulation and help the young person develop confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENDCo to ensure the student’s needs are consistently met.

To be successful as a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
, you should:

• Have experience supporting children or young people (school, care or community settings are all considered).
• Be patient, encouraging and adaptable.
• Be confident in managing different behaviours and building rapport.
• Show a genuine passion for helping a pupil achieve their potential.
