Learning Support Assistant – Primary SEND (Full-Time)

Milk Education is proud to be working with a nurturing and inclusive Primary SEND School in L27, supporting pupils aged 4–11 with a range of complex needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and moderate to severe learning difficulties.

We are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their dedicated team. You’ll be supporting small classes of around 10–12 pupils, working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver tailored learning and emotional support.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with diverse and complex needs

• Assist with communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, and sensory-based approaches

• Support pupils with personal care, emotional regulation, and behaviour management

• Help create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment

• Contribute to EHCP targets and collaborate with the wider support team

• Experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a primary or specialist setting

• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to support pupils with personal care and physical needs

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
