SEN Teaching Assistant – L5 Area | Immediate Start

A friendly and inclusive primary school in the L4 area is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start in September 2025. This full-time role will involve providing 1:1 support for a child with additional needs in the morning and offering general support to the KS1 class in the afternoon.

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with SEN during morning sessions
• Assist in managing routines, learning activities, and transitions
• In the afternoons, support the wider classroom under the guidance of the class teacher
• Help create an inclusive, nurturing learning environment
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teachers, and other professionals

• Has experience working 1:1 with children with SEND (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
• Is calm, patient, and supportive in approach
• Holds a relevant TA qualification (Level 2/3 preferred)
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
