Teacher – Liverpool

Overview

We are looking for a passionate Teacher to join a supportive educational setting in Liverpool, working with students who benefit from a personalised and nurturing learning environment. The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons while supporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support student progress and achievement.
Create a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with additional needs.
Monitor student progress, assessment, and attainment.
Support behaviour management and pastoral care.
Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery and school development.
Qualifications

Degree in a relevant subject area (or equivalent).
QTS/QTLS or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification.
GCSE Maths, English, and Science (Grade 4/C or above).
Key Skills & Experience

Experience working in a school or education setting, ideally secondary.
Understanding of alternative provision and supporting students with additional needs.
Ability to engage and motivate learners.
Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
