Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineering Teacher to join a reputable, Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in North Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start, and the role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Engineering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to a dynamic and well-resourced Technology and Engineering Department. The school is recognised for strong leadership, a positive learning culture, and a commitment to staff development.

Key responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering engaging and technically accurate Engineering lessons.
Supporting students in developing practical skills, problem‑solving abilities, and confidence within STEM subjects.
Maintaining a safe and well-organised workshop environment in line with health and safety standards.
Contributing to departmental planning, assessment, and curriculum development.
Demonstrating high expectations for behaviour, progress, and achievement.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Specialism or strong teaching experience in Engineering or a related Technology discipline.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for STEM education.
Ability to start immediately.
Commitment to inspiring learners and promoting high standards.
