Year 5 Maternity Cover Teacher – Full Time (Starting May 2026)
Forward‑Thinking Primary School
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join our vibrant, forward‑thinking school community from May 2026
. This is a full‑time maternity cover position with full class teacher responsibilities.
The successful candidate will:
- Lead a Year 5 class with confidence, creativity, and high expectations
- Deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
- Take full responsibility for planning, assessment, and classroom management
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school, including events, enrichment, and collaborative planning
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain our culture of continuous improvement and innovation
We are looking for a teacher who is:
- Experienced in teaching Year 5 (essential)
- Fully committed to school life and the development of the whole child
- Passionate about high‑quality teaching and learning
