As an ECT
, you will:

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons across your chosen secondary subject
• Develop classroom practice with guidance from experienced mentors

• Take part in CPD, reflection, and regular progress reviews as part of your ECT induction
• Contribute to the wider school community and departmental planning

To be successful in this Secondary ECT role, you will need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or pending award
• Strong subject knowledge in your specialist secondary area

• A proactive attitude toward behaviour management and pastoral care
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• A genuine commitment to helping students succeed
