• Provide individualized support to students with mental health needs.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment conducive to the emotional well‑being of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to implement tailored support strategies.
• Support the social and emotional development of students through various therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of student progress and intervention strategies.

• Previous experience working in a similar role, particularly within an educational setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting the mental health and well‑being of students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and policies related to mental health in schools.

• Relevant qualifications – TA, Education, Childcare, Mental Health, social work, care, etc.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (this must be on the Update Service).
