Level 2 Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in the L15 area
, supporting pupils aged 2–19 with a diverse range of needs, including special educational needs, visual impairments, sensory needs, and complex learning needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with SEND.
The role is to begin immediately.
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with a variety of SEND
- Assist with learning activities, communication development, and sensory programmes
- Help maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and wider support staff
- Follow individual care plans and behaviour support strategies
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
- A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
- Experience working with complex needs (desirable but not essential)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Ability to commit to full‑time or part‑time hours
- Reliable, patient, and confident within a specialist school environment
