. This Maths Cover Supervisor role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting students, has strong numeracy skills, and can deliver pre‑planned Maths lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.

As a Maths Cover Supervisor
, you will play a vital part in the smooth running of the Maths department. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre‑prepared Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils
• Managing the classroom effectively to ensure a positive learning environment
• Supporting students with Maths tasks and encouraging problem‑solving skills
• Ensuring lesson objectives are met during teacher absences
• Maintaining good behaviour and following school policies
• Providing feedback to the Maths department on pupil engagement and progress

This Maths Cover Supervisor role is ideal for aspiring teachers, graduates in Maths or related subjects, experienced cover supervisors, or anyone passionate about supporting achievement in Mathematics.

• Experience working with young people (school experience desirable but not essential)
• Strong numeracy skills and confidence delivering Maths content
• Excellent communication and classroom management abilities
• A proactive, supportive, and motivating approach
• A genuine interest in helping students succeed in Maths
