Role & Responsibilities/context FRIEND ctudif>
As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning journey of primary-aged children with profound and complex learning needs. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and individualized lessons tailored to each child's unique abilities and developmental stage. You will work closely with a supportive team of professionals, collaborating to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the school's special educational provision.
- Plan and deliver engaging and individualized lessons tailored to the specific needs of each child.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and support staff, to create a holistic learning experience.
- Maintain accurate records,可 过 student progress and participation.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's SEN provision. _BITMass
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Experience teaching children with profound and complex learning needs in a primary or SEN school setting.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging and individualized lessons.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to inclusive education practices.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Relevant teaching qualifications (e.g., QTS).
- Experience working with children at a 12'O8"-18 month old developmental level.
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs.
