Behaviour Support Specialist Teaching Assistant
Location: Woolton (L25)
Start Date: February 2026
Contract: Flexible shifts, term-time only
Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Do you have a passion for helping young people thrive? We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, supportive school community in Woolton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children who need extra guidance and encouragement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with pupils who need additional behavioural and emotional support.
- Building positive relationships and creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued.
- Supporting teachers and the SENCO team to implement strategies that promote positive behaviour and engagement.
- Helping pupils develop confidence and resilience both inside and outside the classroom.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in behaviour support or SEN is a desirable
- , but a caring and patient attitude is essential.
- Great communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- A genuine desire to make a difference in children’s lives.
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
